22 oz bottle purchased at Redstone Liquors, Stoneham MA. Hazy gold in color with thin head in the snifter. Aroma shows me rye malt, lemon and grains of paradise? Did Sam Adams brew this???

The flavor has a very sweet malt backing with pepper, lemons, caramel? Why am I tasting caramel? I don’t pick up any of the Belgian yeast character that I like in these styles. The yeast is hidden under all the sweet malts and pepper. Body is medium with a dry texture. I was left wanting some of the yeast flavors.

22oz bottle pours a hazy orange with some creamy, white head. Nose of sugar, tropical fruit, some spice, pineapple, lemon. Flavor is the same, sweet, sugary, tropical fruit, candy, grapefruit. Sweet finish.

A hazed blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, smooth sweet powdery malt with grassy notes. In mouth, nice smooth saison, with nice creamy notes, nice and smooth. Tasted at Drink Craft Beer Summerfest Fest, July 14 2012.

Pours gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing to coat surface. Caramel and citrus aromas. Crisp and peppery with upfront caramel turning to yeast before the lasting lemon finish.
