Sample at the brewery taproom. The beer is a clear orange-yellow color with a medium white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of hops, grapefruit and sweet malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

12 oz can given to me by bvc. The pour is a lightly hazed golden copper, with a two inch white head that falls slowly with soapy lace. The aroma is bright resin citrus hop, fresh, shows nice tangerine and pineapple. The light cracker malt is present, though certainly under the hops. The taste is light toasted cracker malt up front, turning quick to the citrus bitterness, the resin, and finishing with a touch of an off chemical dirty flavor. The palate is light bodied, bright active carbonation, and citrus peel bitterness mineral in the finish. The bitter bite gives the finish a nice dry bite. Easy drinking tasty beer, thanks Brandon.

Bottle sample @ 2nd RBBSG, August 11th 2012. Courtesy of Ajax25g.
