Can, as 3 Stars Peppercorn Saison. Pours frosty orange brown. Delicate funk, little butter, lemon zest, grain, not much pepper. Medium body. Fine.

Pours a slightly hazy pale straw from a tap. Grassy aroma, along with some light malt. Peppercorn shows up slightly in the mouth. Good beer.

[12oz can of Peppercorn Saison, from Total Wines, Naples, Fl.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a billowing off-white head and heavy carbonation; yeasty aroma; sweet grainy taste; with a herbal bitterness and no real sign of peppercorns. Odd.

Peppercorn Saison can, from Beach Liquors in Fort Walton Beach. Pours a cloudy yellow color, with a big, bubbly, head. The nose is apricot, black pepper, rosemary, dried lime, and syrup. Sweet and spicy, with a light bitterness. Light to medium body, with a hard, dry, and musty feel. This is a complex and interesting saison. Pretty nice.

Golden. Sweet malty notes over a bit of spice, yeast, floral, and a peppery bite. Earthy. Medium body and smooth. Decent. I wish there was more pepper and less soft malt.
