Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a cloudy yellow color with a medium sized foamy white head. The aroma was chalk, bubblegum and mustiness. The flavor was musty, funky and bretty with strong perfume followed by chalk and an earthy not. Very long finish. Medium body. Not good

Poured from a bottle. Aroma is lightly phenolic with some white pepper. Light white wine tannins and oak. Medium light tropical fruit notes. Lemon and lime. Pours a cloudy, pale yellow with a small, thick white head with decent retention. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is lightly phenolic with some citrus notes. Light oak and wine tannins. Moderate bitterness. Light graininess. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice barrel aged saison with good oak notes. Good phenolic notes.

1212oz pour at the brewery. Pours a lightly hazy gold with some thin white head. Nose is grassy, herbal, some malt, floral, peppery. Really all the things a saison should be. Taste starts with a zing of citrus, then grass, black pepper, a little tropical fruit, some cracker. Clean finish. Solid.

Handpull cask. Hazy golden yellow color, small white head, solid lacing. Aroma of citrus, pineapple, grass. Taste is mildly funky lemongrass, not bad.
