Bottle from Modern Liquors -DC. Was saving for bottle share, but getting too old. Pretty smooth, in the East Coast style. Cloudy golden body, with medium airy head. Light hoppy aroma and taste, might pass for an APA in the NW. Tasty, with mild lingering finish.

Norm’s Beer and Wine, Vienna Virginia bomber: pours orange gold woth a white head. Aroma is light hints of pine and a good bit of tropical fruit along with a floral note. Taste ia not very bitter but is quite fruity. Not too sweet either. Backbone is there but it does not assert itself. Qa good IPA.

Nice crisp clear golden coloured body with a very pleasant two centimetre tall just off-white coloured head - very nice. Aroma of crisp galaxy or australia/new zealand hops coupled with some tropical fruits with definite flavours of passionfruit in the mix. Medium-bodied; Assertive tropical fruit flavour joining with the malt and a light sweetness comes out as well with the nice balance. Aftertaste shows some subtle sweetness, a hint of caramel, a little malt body, some hop bitterness and a lot of tropical fruit - very nice and refreshing. Overall, a very nicely balanced IPA with more emphasis on the tropical fruits than the hops, per se, showing not much bitterness, but a lot of fruit smoothness and sweet flavours at the finish. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Falls Church (Tyson’s Corner), Virginia on 10-July-2014 for US$6,99 sampled at home in Washington on 28-October-2014.

Bomber from Whole Foods Vienna, VA. Pours a hazy orange color with a medium sized creamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of pine, citrus and tropical hops. The taste is caramel malt, apples, citrus and pine hops. Medium bodied, moderate lingering bitterness, decent balance.
