The new amber-toned brew features roasted malt character, with English two-row malts provide the beer with a maple aroma and pronounced chocolate, caramel and hazelnut top notes.

Bottle. An average nut brown ale...most of leinenkugel beers are pretty generic for a comp with such variety. Overall average

Pours clear dark amber into a shaker. Off-white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Dusty cocoa and sweet caramel aromas. Full sweet caramel upfront turning to slightly smoked chocolate in the dry, lasting macadamia finish.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear light brown with amber highlights and off-white head that dissapates quickly. Taste is toasted malt and some hazelnut. Palate is a little thin, but carbonation is nice, pretty good beer.

bottle - Pours clear light amber with a one finger, quickly dissipating head and a nutty, toasted caramel malt aroma. Tastes of sweet caramel malt and nuts. It’s pretty mild and definitely too thin. Drinkable. Unimpressive.

not the best ive ever had, like a macro trying to be a micro, no real taste or flavor that distinguishes it, not a great aftertaste, wont do it again.

12 oz bottle. Aroma is nutty; also smell cinnamon, grain. Pours chestnut brown with minimal head, moderate lacing. Flavor isn’t as good as I remember it. Still, not bad. It’s quite nutty (thinking of Austin Powers) obviously; caramel, cinnamon notes. A little watery. Finishes nutty, faintly sour.

Bottle. Deep amber, clear body. Off white, rapidly diminishing head. Nice roasty aroma of grain, nuts, ash with a whiff of coffee. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet andlightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. The beer starts with a hit of strong coffee-like roast with a nutty flavor in the middle. It turns lightly tart. Crisp and clean. Nothing complex. Straightforward and easy drinking.
