Our Belgian White Ale is modeled after the original Belgian Witbiers brewed in monasteries during the early 14th century. The soft notes of citrus and spice are topped with a light fluffy head that finishes clean and crisp. This all natural ale is our latest seasonal brew, perfect for lounging at lake-side or celebrating at trails end...

Nice hazy golden blonde coloured body with a perfectly sized, albeit fast-dying white head. Aroma of bananas, cloves, yeast and a super-strong amount of coriander seed. Medium-bodied; Spicy taste up front with wheat, malt, yeast, oranges (curacao) and a little nutmeg thrown in. Aftertaste shows more spice, a touch of anise and a little watery ending. Overall, a pretty nice wit, not amazing, but good from the Northeast. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased at Oliver’s Beverage on 22-December-2008, sampled at home in Washington on 14-January-2009.

A milky opaque yellow wit with a thin white head. A lightly skunky wild herbal aroma, with odd sulfury notes. In mouth, fresh and creamy wit, rathe rlight and, in the end, non-descript. Sampled at Vermont Brewfest July 19 2008.

12 oz bottle from Thaichile. 051408 stamped on the neck of the bottle. Pour is a hazed, cloudy pale yellow with a bright white one inch head. Head falls fast with no lacing. Aroma of bright fresh lemon citrus, wheat and some floral spiciness. Taste is soft and sugary lemons. The floral is present, and is quite perfumy in the aftertaste. There is some bitter hoppiness near the clean and brief finish. This was mostly about the lemons. Overall, nice drinkable Wit. Thanks Mark!

@ Uno’s-12oz bottle-pours a dissipating white head and verry hazy pale yellow color. Aroma is musty wheat, secondary spice, yeast. Taste is musty wheat, tart-lemon, secondary spice, yeast. A slightly spiced lawnmower beer. OK effervescence.

Two words, CORIANDER BOMB. Good for me because I love coriander. There are some muted lemon (not so citric) and sweet Belgian notes but the coriander really dominates. Its really not for all but I like it like that. The color of the beer is to my liking as well. Its a completely dark yellow color, thick with no clarity at all. I do not know if I have ever seen a wit so dark and thick. The head was initially large and bubbly but eventually disappeared completely. Got a bit more body to it then most Wits I come across.
On tap @ Downtown Bar & Grill, Weizen glass.
