Afine example of the IPA tradition. Amber color pour with a medium head. Hop scent and flavor with a crisp finish. A solid brew.

12 oz bottle courtesy of mcox90. Pour is a hazed orange golden, with a big white head the settles with big carbonation bubbles. Aroma of hoppy citrus and some resin pine. Taste is the bitter hops, citrus, pine held up by a decent enough malt backbone. Palate is unfiltered, medium. Finish is a grassy and slightly bitter. Enjoyable IPA. Thanks for sending my way, Michael!

Pours cloudy gold into a shaker. Detergent, pine and resin aromas. Astringent grapefruit from front to back, but not unpleasantly so.

Large white head over a light orange body. There is a bit more malt than hops int he aroma. The flavor is well balanced hops and malt. More assertiveness is needed to really grab the attention of a hop head.

2004 bottle at Julio’s Spring Beer Festival, 4/02/05. Clear golden-yellow body, small white head, fair retention, some lacing. Aroma of simple, citrus hops and light fruity yeast. Little bit of pale malt to balance, some dry hay-mineral-like notes. Flavor is dry and hoppy, bordering astringent. Fruits, minerals, some iron in there that dosent belong and a bit of soap. Boring, unwavering hops bitterness, little malt backbone, medium body, moderate carbonation. Yawn....

An orange beer with a small white disappearing head. The aroma is sour and slightly hoppy. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and a sticky mouthfeel. This reminds me of a pilsener, not at all of an IPA.
