Mother Ale pays homage to the best in all of us. This rich bodied golden ale is smooth and satisfying. Brewed using North American grown pilsner and wheat malts, and topped off with European noble hops, Mother Ale is a reminder that mother knows what’s best. After a day of fishing, rafting, or just marveling at the bounty of mother earth, no beer knows what “ales” you better.

12 oz can gifted by my Dad from a visit to the area. Thanks! Cool amd clean flavor to this blonde ale, with a nice balance. Crisp front. Not exactly an explosion of flavors here, but it maintains that enjoyable balanced taste throughout. Light, and well made blonde ale here.

The appearance is a pale golden colored body with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dies leaving some nice sticky foamy lacing in its wake.
The smell has a clean crisp sweet wheat and a little bit of fresh sweet corn.
The taste is mainly sweet through the wheat and corn and combined pretty well done - I like it. It has a sweet wheat aftertaste and dry crisp finish.
The palate is light bodied and is fairly sessionable. Carbonation comes across fairly smooth and I’d say pretty good to me.
Overall, not sure why I’m having this at this time of the year, as I’d say this is good for the style and I guess a nice breakup from winter stouts.

Draft: Poured a golden color with white head. Aroma was very light and although not unpleasant was more non-existent. Taste was similar with light hops and grain.
