(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 11 Feb 2017) Black colour with dense, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, dark chocolate and black rye bread. Malty, roasted taste with notes of fresh black coffee, dark chocolate, black rye bread, a touch of liquorice and a generous coffee bitterness. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well made, with a generous coffee character. Very nice.

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, dark malts, dark sugar, sweet licorice, grass, minerals, chocolate, caramel, roasted grain, alcohol, coffee. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, weeds, minerals, sour coffee, roasted grain, grass, dark sugar, licorice, "knekk", bark, chocolate. Medium bitterness, slightly watery mouthfeel. Fair enough.

330ml bottle shared with djoeye and Finn. Firm fawn-coloured head, near black coloured body. Spotty lacing down the glassware. Inviting aroma of chocolate, coffee, and dark fruits. Taste of choco-coffee, earth and prunes. Mid-sweet malty ending, slightly roasted. Well bodied, tasty, rather sweet in the long run (Session at Finn’s place, Tromsø 11.02.2017).

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Oslo - Aker Brygge. Delt med djoeye & Rune i heimen 11 Feb 17. Svart. Lavt tett mokkafarget skum. God kaffearoma med spor av sjokolade. Smaken lett syrlig. Balansert. Kaffe & røstet malt. Tørr etter hvert.

[ As Sori Coffee Gorilla ].Clear dark dark brown color with a average to large, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, coffee, dark malt, moderate roasted. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted - malt bitter, dark malt, coffee, chocolate, rye. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Pitch black (with a ruby hue against the light), small but steady frothy tan head, good lacing. Rich chocolate nose, aroma roasted malts, cocoa, caramel, mocha, licorice. Taste medium sweet and bitter, roasted malts, dark chocolate, toffee, coffee notes. Sweetbitter aftertaste, lingering chocolate, light spicy notes; medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Rich, round and well-balanced.

Kicsi, barna, tartós hab, fekete szín. Csokis, kakaós, aszaltgyümölcsös illatok, pici kávés aromával. Csokis, aszalt szilvás, kakaós ízvilág, némi kávés ízzel. Testes, enyhén szénsavas és keserű, leheletnyit édeskés. Nagyon finom, jó összhangú sör.

Bottled. Deep brown colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is toasted malts, some coffee, mild rye bready notes as well as some toffee and mild fruity notes. Flavour is coffee, mild roasted malts, some caramel, toffee and mild toasted notes. A slight alcohol sweetness coming through in the finish too. Very nice balance.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average, firm, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Roasty, dark malty and coffee aroma, a touch of toffee, liquorice and treacle. Taste is roasty dark malty, notes of coffee, sugared espresso, a touch of toffee, treacle and liquorice, bitter hoppy overtones.
