F: medium size, bit tanned, average retention. C: dark, opaque. A: roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, bit dark dried fruits. T: roasted malt, coffee, cocoa, bit chocolate, bitter espresso, good coffee Baltic porter anyway, full body, low to medium carbonation, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from RBESG 2017, many thanks.

On tap at Sori Taproom, Helsinki. Almost black with a tan head. Sweetish with roasted malt, coffee and some toffee. The body was medium as was the bitterness. A good one.

Bottle from Saveur Biere. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, licorice, chocolate and coffee. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and roasted rather bitter finish. 310717

Sweet, malty, slight coffee scent. Malty, roasted, slight coffee taste. Slight metallic, coffee aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, a bit fizzy. Medium high bitterness. Some warming alcohol coming through. My first but certainly not my last Sori beer.8/3/7/3/14=3.5Rerate33 cl bottle on December 30, 2017. Brought home from the Sori brery. BB 10 05 2018, marker 131.Clear dark brown to black color, nice lasting tan to light brown head. Malty, toffee, a tad sweet scent. Malty, roasted, toffee taste. Roasted, a bit burnt aftertaste. Some warming alcohol. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.7/5/7/4/14=3.7

Draft @ Malmö Öl & Whisky Festival 2017. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty coffee chocolate aroma. Roasted malty coffee chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty coffee chocolate finish.

Baltic Porter de la brasserie Sori, cette Coffee Gorilla porte pour le mieux son nom, avec une dominante aromatique sur le café expresso, simple, mais efficace. En verre celle-ci est d’un noir total avec une mousse beige nappant tout juste la surface. L’effervescence est peu marquée mais avec de très fines bulles. Le nez est quant à lui relativement simple mais intéressant sur un triptyque café, chocolat et sirop d’érable. A la dégustation; l’attaque et la deuxième bouche présentent un bon équilibre malt/houblon. L’attaque sur des arôme de café et de candi, la deuxième bouche également sur le café mais enrichie par le chocolat et une petite pointe de fruits rouges appréciable. L’arrière bouche, est davantage sur l’amertume avec des notes de café et de fruits jaunes. La corpulence n’est cependant pas très développée et les deux premières bouches laissent rapidement la place à la troisième et à une belle amertume et des notes pures de café expresso d’une bonne intensité (IBU de 45 mais sur une bière peu sucrée et maltée). L’équilibre amertume/alcool/sucre est excellent : Amertume saillante, alcool à 7 % Abv soutenant bien l’ensemble sur une longueur acceptable (sans être pour autant exceptionnelle) et sucre pas trop présent pour une texture fine. Le final linéaire aurait tout de même gagné à être davantage travaillé. En conclusion, cette Coffe Gorilla fait dans l’efficacité sans faire ni dans l’originalité ni dans la complexité pour une bière rafraîchissante.

Fat drucken på Sori Taproom Helsinki. Smak och doft av choklad, rostade toner, blåbär, vanilj, kaffe. Krämig, rund och len, viss syrlighet, bra balans, lagom sötma, fin kaffearom. Mycket gott!

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 11 Feb 2017) Black colour with dense, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, dark chocolate and black rye bread. Malty, roasted taste with notes of fresh black coffee, dark chocolate, black rye bread, a touch of liquorice and a generous coffee bitterness. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well made, with a generous coffee character. Very nice.

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, dark malts, dark sugar, sweet licorice, grass, minerals, chocolate, caramel, roasted grain, alcohol, coffee. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, weeds, minerals, sour coffee, roasted grain, grass, dark sugar, licorice, "knekk", bark, chocolate. Medium bitterness, slightly watery mouthfeel. Fair enough.
