0.28 l on tap at Troost Westergas. Opaque black with a medium large, creamy, brown head. Sweetish, fruity-malty, minimally roasty aroma of raisins, blackberries, coffee and dark chocolate. Sweetish, fruity-malty, slightly roasty taste of raisins, blackberries, coffee and dark chocolate, followed by a medium long, roasty-bitter finish with faint notes of licorice. Tap @ In De Wildeman (7.3% ABV according to the blackboard), sample size, courtesy of SImon, thanks! Black color. A bit frothy light brown head. Aroma’s: from the glass not that much, a bit macha/sweet coffee, a bit roast. Retronasal there’s more to it: sweet roasted, a little salty even. Flavor is roasted, light sweet. Medium bodied. Finishes with more roast, moderate bitter. Good old-fashioned Export Stout.

On tap at Troost. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and liquorice. Smells inviting. Flavour of liquorice, laurel, caramel, some chocolate, mainly liquorice, light earthy. Light bodied, expected it to be fuller. Nice though.
