Bottle stamped Enjoy by 04/15/20 so assumed ~ 4 months old A: Poured a small head over a bright pale orange body. Head fell to a lasting ring. S: Malty scent of toffee with light pine and orange. T: Woody malt and bitter piney hops at once. Faint citrus pith and biscuit kick in later. Crisp and well balanced; less sweet than expected. M: Medium body with average to stiff carbonation and dry-ish finish. O: Good malt flavors although they overwhelm the hops. it is English though and not all too fresh. Overall well balanced and fairly tasty.

Crisp amber and copper coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of earthy malt, metal, nuts and a good deal of grassy hops. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and very earthy flavour at first with some alcohol and metal noticeable as well. Aftertaste shows some earth, nuts, malt, pine and a little grassy dryness, but the hops show through along with some metallic off-flavours and a bit too much malt, but expected if this is an English-styled IPA. Overall, a decent beer, however, I sampled this horizontally with the Green Man Trickster IPA, which I preferred almost every aspect of that beer over this. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Grapevine in Fort Mill, South Carolina on 21-August-2017 for US$1,70 after watching the Eclipse, sampled at home on the Eastern Shore of Virginia in Pungoteague, Virginia on 02-September-2017.

Bottle from Harris Teeter, Hampstead, North Carolina. Dark amber-orange with a thin head. It’s strong tasting but maintains a fair recognisable pale ale texture.

Aggressively hopped IPA, amber color. Strong resin and citrus hops. Pronounced bitterness. Very mild bready malts just provide a backbone and slight degree of sweetness. Resiny flavors.
