Cask at Rustico, Alexandria VA. Poured a golden color, small very thin bubbly white (like soap foam). Aroma was a bit muted, but notes of bitter hops, touch of yeast notes - bread notes. Flavor was pretty mellow - muted.

Served on cask at Beer Run. Pours a hazy amber color with a large creamy offwhite head. Good head retention. Aroma of floral and tropical hops. The taste is bitter earth and resin hops, and pale malts. Medium bodied.

A hazed weizen-like blonde IPA with a thick off white head. In aroma, a murky and grassy hops, with light catnip notes, Nelson Sauvin. In mouth, a funky floral hops, light cheese notes, a bit wild but nice. On tap at Sunset Grill, Sept. 11 2011.

Cask at Churchkey. Deep golden color, fluffy white head with good retention. Aroma of pineapple and bitter lemon. Taste is similar. Could be better balanced, but still pretty tasty.

Tap at Rattle n Hum. Underwhelmed here. Pours a copper orange, slightly hazy, with a medium white head. Earthy hop aroma with faint malts. Flavor is seriously bitter, but not in a good way. I would agree with some of the other comments here: abrasive, plastic. Piney, but like sap. It’s drinkable but not terrific. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes bitter with light sweetness. Needs some tweaking.

Sampled at Sunset Grill Allston. Pours a hazy amber with a slightly creamy, slightly off white head. Aroma is balanced but leaning on American hops, citrus, floral. Flavor is malty, bready, lightly sweet, flowers, orange rind, citrus. Finish is medium bodied. Nice, drinkable.

Location: Tap at Rattle 'N Hum, 4/17/10

Aroma: Nose is fairly dull, muted hops, light buttery notes, light caramel
Appearance: Pours a hazy amberish color with a head that leaves a good amount of lace
Flavor: The taste is also pretty muted, weak hop notes, metalic flavor, light butter
Palate: The body is light, and the mouthfeel (like the taste) is a bit metalic
Overall Impression: Somehow I haven't rated anything from Sixpoint before. Wow! I can't believe that. I've definitely had a few different Sixpoint beers over the years. Overall, I wasn't impressed with this one, it's mediocre.
