Bottle shared at the 8th Richmond Industry Gathering, 12/1/13. Pours a clear amber color with a thin fizzy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of earth, pepper, dry citrus and honey. The taste is citrus hops and pale malts. Medium bodied, decent balance.

Bottle. Poured a clear yellow color with a wispy, white head. Aroma was light malts, some candied lemon notes in this one. Bitter lemon, light malt. Interesting, but only in a small quantity I would imagine.

Draft. Clear yellow body with a frothy white head, slowly diminishing. Hop aroma of grapefruit and citrus with notes of toasted wheat and lemon. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture turning slick, lively carbonation. Taste of grapefruit and sweet citrus that quickly turns bitter. Seems lots of brewers are making a Three Floyds Gumballhead. This is another one.

Hazy blonde. Thin head. Dusty yeast and floral hops make for a fun, perfumey aroma. Dry. Spicy, with more floral, citrusy hops. Good brew, nicely balanced with a slightly minerally mouthfeel. Not the usual humble wheat ale, that’s for sure.

GABF 2011 - intense nose of lime and lemon rind, lemongrass, wheat and pepper - flavor is peppery heat, strong, fresh lime and mint, tangy wheat - fresh, grassy, zesty citrus finish - well done.

Bottle from DeCecios for Saturday afternoon. Pours yellow with nice fluffy head and decent lacing. Smells delicious of citrus and hops. Tastes of lemon peel, hoppy, cloves, banana, herbs, and floral. It’s quick drying on palate and clean and crisp. Great.
