Still digging through old note pads/books. I used to drink a lot of this some years ago when hoppy beers weren’t always easy to find. All I noted was roast malt and a lot of hop. Well a lot of hop for 7 or 8 years ago. I remember loving the bottle and label - not to mention the beer. For me it was right in there with the old bottle conditioned Bridgeport IPA. If I found it, I would drink it again.

Retired? Draft at the brewpub. Clear golden color. Aroma of light grass. Taste is plain but balanced.

Nice pale golden coloured body with a white head. Medium-bodied; Strong assertive cascade hops up front with some mild malt and a bit of cardboard behind. Aftetaste shows some nuts, sugars and a lot of lingering hops. Overall, a nice beer - definitely worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this on draught at Growlers Pub South in St. Louis, MO on 13-August-2005.

A thinnish American Pale, decent but missing something (malt probably). ..

I really love this - but I love hoppy ales. Moderate bitterness but loads of hop flavor and aroma. Tasted great. Medium bodied maltiness gave it a modest balance.
