Decent Belgian Pale, bitter and citric, with a clean, hoppy finish. Too bad it was brewed in collaboration with the Alstroms. Gives the brew an asshole-ish aftertaste.

Draft at Brewvival 2012. Pours a hazy lemon color with a medium creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of grain, caramel and grass. The taste is grain, grass, hops, stone fruits and caramel. Medium bodied.

Draft. Straw colored beer with a whitish head. Yeast and malt aroma. Malt and spice flavor with yeast and light fruity esters. Medium bodied. Spice and light esters linger with malt and yeast. You could drink a lot of this and be happy.

Churchkey, DC 10oz ($7): Pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. Aroma is of the pretty great yeast, fruitiness, and actually noticeable hops in the nose. Taste is pretty much up the same avenue. Pretty great balance. Slight sweetness. Really noticeable yeast in the taste. Balances well with the hops. Considering the low alcohol content, this beer had huge flavour.

A lightly hazed ale with a thick white head. In aroma, a smooth grassy and herbal malt, with curacao, spices, very nice. In mouth, a smooth chalky spiced malt with nice coriander, light Orval Brett, grassy hops, very nice and smooth. On tap at Sunset Grill, Oct. 8 2011.

On tap at Churchills. Pours with a slightly hazed golden body and a large and persistent white head. Aromas are pear, floral, estery, fruity, coriander, phenolic and guava. Flavors are lively, fruity, huge tropical fruit notes with mango and passion fruit. Dry, wheat, pepper. Lively and dry mouthfeel. Estery, medium bitterness. Very solid.

Sampled from the tap at EBF. Poured a slightly hazy pale yellow with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had a light grass note with some pine and a sweet grain backing. Flavor had a note of grapefruit with some pine that mellows in to more of a grassy note with a bit of grain in the finish.

Staff recommendation (and courtesy of Travis!) at Churchkey, thanks! Light yellow, massive fluffy white head. Aroma of bretty sourness. Taste has very subtle sourness, with vanilla and oak. Nice stuff, especially for a relatively low ABV.
