A new version of an American classic. Our pale ale bursts with citrus and herbal hop aroma and flavor, featuring the newly discovered Amarillo hop variety – along with generous Perle and Cascade hops. Made with English Pale, Munich, Vienna, and Crystal malts, this beer gives a great malty body with a cleansing hop finish.

Bottle. Copper-gold in color with a really nice head. Actually a really nice balanced ale. Aroma has hints of roasted grains interlaced with citrus. Taste is a malty sweet upfront, balanced in the middle with a nice, fresh citrus fruit finish.

From tap at Yazoo Brewing Company, Nasville. Pale malt aroma with caramel, bready notes, and slight old hops. Sweetish flavour and moderate bitter. Medium body. Very malty, more like a dull Amber.

12 oz. bottle from Fresh Market in Brentwood, TN. Pours a crystal clear bronze color with an eggshell colored head and good retention. Great lacing. Very faint caramel and hops aroma. Similar taste with more caramel flavor than hops flavor for an APA. This could easily pass for an amber ale. Smooth and clean. Light, soft bitterness for 47 IBU. Medium body.

On tap at the Nashville Airport. Pours a hazy orange with small off white head. The aroma is toasted malt and earth. Slick body, bready malt, pine, light bitter finish, decent.

Bottle pour at Whole Foods. Pours an orange gold with a finger of eggshell colored foam that lingers. Sweet corn on the nose with some biscuit and caramel aromas. Sweet on the palate as well, easy drinking and approachable, but wanted more balance from the hops.

Some bitterness, some malt. Ok but not particularly stunning like young Megan Fox. Pours amber with ok head and lacing. Tap at music venue in Nashville.

Pretty weak for an APA, malt-forward and overly sweet with a mild citric hop presence mostly asserting itself on the long bitter finish. Toasted malts add a nice heaviness to the middle, but the unfortunate sweetness overpowers any hoppy fun and results in a dull, English-leaning pale.
