Draught (as Sweet Cherry Lambic@CBC2016. Red colour with a small head. Aroma is funk, farmyeard, cherries, some yeast and mild cherry stones too. Flavour is tart cherries, some earthy and yeasty tones with a mild sweetness as well as some almond like elements. Very nice and refreshing, with a somewhat dry palate.

(Tap sample @ CBC 2016 Blue Session, Copenhagen) Pours a murky purplish red with a small dark pink head. Nose is reminiscent of a really fruity red wine, lots of cherry quality as expected but surprisingly vinous. Really light on the funk, a little lacto and acetic edge, but pretty prominent fruit. Flavour is a bit more tart than the nose, again like light/medium bodied red wine, some cherry skin, cherry flesh that's on the tart side despite being "sweet", some wood and lightly dusty funk. Not as richly fruity and mouth-filling as the other Bokkereyder krieks, Light to medium bodied, slick, soft carbonation. Good stuff, but hard not to compare to Pinot and Solera.

Purple red color. no head. Smells amazing. like straight cherry juice. reminds me of some of the spontaneous frederiksdal from Mikkel. Sharp acid from lambic up front, followed by a good balance of cherry wine that cuts through but it’s still tooo sour for me. I can’t imagine how loaded with cherry it is. looks like a smoothie. sharp acid at the end with Marmalade flavors.

Sampled from bottle at ’De Prael Proeflokaal’ during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016. Clear, deep purple red. Sourish-fruity, slightly funky aroma of cherries, some raspberries and almond. Quite sour, very fruity and slightly funky taste of cherries, some raspberries and almond, followed by a medium long, rather astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really good!
