Bottle at BCTC 2010. Pours cloudy amber with a sturdy, beige head. Aroma holds some nice pine and citrus hops, along with caramel malts. Flavor starts with some nice, sweet malts and bread, then there is some good bitterness of citrus. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes quite sweet with more caramel notes and understated hops. Definitely on the sweet side for an IPA, but I really liked it.

33 cl bottle. Dark copper color, huge tan head. Aroma of pine-sol and lemon pledge. Taste starts sweet with lots of caramel, a bit of pine in the middle, and some bitterness throughout. Lacks balance.

Sample at the "Beer Tasting on the Front Porch". Pours a clear orange-amber color with a thin off-white head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Roasted malt aroma with some hoppy notes. Medium body with flavors of mild hops and sweet malt. Touches of citrus as well. The finish is lightly bitter hops with a short aftertaste. Just average overall.

Hazy dark amber color. This is an easy Pale Ale, more than an IPA: the aroma has mild sweet caramel and hop; there is sweet caramel flavor, toffee, with average hops; the final as well is sweet, more than expected. It’s missing a more powerful hop bite.
