A traditional brown ale brewed using the renowned British aromatic hop East Kent Goldings. Medium bodied with nice malt character. This is a dark and flavorful ale.

[At Stockholm Beer Festival] A red-brown beer with a huge light brown head. The aroma is sweet with lots of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty and quite hoppy with notes of straw.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Nut brown, creamy head. Sweet and roasty with medium body and clean, hard, rounded mouthfeel. Pleasant grapefruity hops leads to a lingering bitter finish.

Clear amber/brown coloured body with almost no head at all. Slight vinegary aroma with a mild malty scent. Medium-bodied; Malty flavour throughout with some nuttiness and a mild coffee/chocolate flavour. Aftertaste shows some of the hops, but not too much else. Overall, a decent brown, but not anything really special from these guys! I had this beer on draught at the Flying Saucer in Nashville, Tennessee.

2002 draught. Probably one of my least favorite styles of beer, but Sierra Nevada does a good job. had it on tap, and it was good. Had a good round malt character, good bitter notes, with an even character and of course. . . hops.
