Bottle. I have looked forward to this for a while as it waited in the cellar. The pour is a slightly hazy orange with a pretty decent head. Aromas are a little off-putting, with a lot of floral and spicy tones and a heavy handed sweetness. Flavor is an odd mess that just isn’t for me. A hot mess of alcohol, cloyingly sweet honey and herbal and floral stuff all. I’m not sure if it is the sweetness, or the herbal and floral disaster or what, but I’m just not very pleased with this beer.

Bottle @ home. Golden yellow-orange appearance with a big pearl white head. Rose floral, a touch spicy hoppy, citrusy aroma. Floral, tangy citrusy, lightly tart, light barnyard, Belgian yeasty flavor. Tangy aftertaste.

Cork pops like a rocket. Pours deep gold into a tulip. Off-white head with excellent retention craters and recedes leaving spot lacing. Summer meadow and citrus aromas. Dry and sweet with upfront caramel, lavender and grass turning to mild resin and grapefruit in the lasting finish.

750 C&C from Half Time some months ago.37678 by 6/19/14. Pours hazy gold with a foamy/creamy 3 finger white head. Smells quite floral and lightly spicy. Med body. Flavor is quite intense. It’s floral, herbal, spicy. And it seems quite earthy. In a very herby way. Spice lightens up with time. Flowers seem to diminish. But that herby earthy part just shows up more intensely. Seems like a good saison, but the floral does seem a bit overdone ll- maybe that’s just me.

Bottle via a trade with BA JAHMUR. Pours with a very hazy golden body and a ridiculously large white head. Aroma of sage, lavender, tea, spicy yeast notes, ginger, and pepper. Flavors are a bit sweeter than the aroma. Flavors of musty books, chamomile, grass/cellulose, ginger, biscuit, lemon and a light metallic note. Extremely effervescent. Dry, prickly finish.

Bottle - thanks Cletus. Peach juice colored pour with a finger of bubbly white head. Nose is very bright with florals and sweet flowery things. Tastes zesty with florals and spices while still retaining a nice sweetness. Crisp. Floral and earthy meets perfume. Fun, different, and well done.

Pours a cloudy yellow. Smells of floral aroma and is pretty pleasant on that front. Its tastes deeply of flowers and rose water. It is way too sweet for my taste. Unusual but for me not in a good way. It reminds me of why I smell flowers and don’t ingest them.

Pours orange amber with a very fluffy white head. Nose of roses, peel, spice and coriander. Taste follows suit. Thick mouthfeel for something brewed with "flowers and rose water." Nice saison.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy, pale yellow with a mild, soft white head. Holds a floral, honey aroma. Flavor is very sweet, with lots of malty notes and carame, as well as an intriguing honeysuckle character. Medium in body with light carbonation. Finishes sweet, with lingering honey and faint bitterness. Recently had a 2007 bottle in 2010. Excellent. Bumping rating up 2/10 of a point.
