Eulogy, Philly tap: Pours a copperish color with a white head. Aroma is yeast, bread, non-citrus fruitiness. Taste is lightly sweet. A wee bit spicy. Bread and yeast. I like this more than I usually like bier de gardes.

750 mL bottle from State Line. Pours a clear amber color with floating particles. Large rocky tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of caramel, bread, apples and faint spice. The taste is bread, raisins, spice, herbal hops a faint hints of cheese and brown sugar. Medium bodied, soft carbonation and the faintest hint of booze. Nice beer.

A reddish amber ale with a thick receeding light moka head. In aroma, caramel malt, candy sugar, very nice. In mouth, a maderized candy malt, Belgian hops, veering on a Dubbel, but again, a bit tired. Bottle from brewpub. Shared with GRM, March 10 2011.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy amber-brown color with a medium off-white head that dissipates quickly. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of biscuity malt, yeast and fruit. Medium body with flavors of citrus, grassy hops, and malt. The finish is zesty fruit and lingers a bit. Decent overall.

Bottle courtesy of Greg at Pizzeria Paradiso. Clear golden with a giant white head that settles slowly to leave moderate lacing. Aroma of freshly baked bread. Flavor has lots of malt up front, well balanced, citrus/grapefruit/lemon, with great body. Nice.
