Arguably our most well-balanced beer, Small Craft Warning seems at once hop-forward and malt-forward; our brewers debate over which flavor force prevails in the beer. Small Craft exemplifies a robust pilsner - it's crisp, well-carbonated, and slightly sweet. The beer is characterized by a firm malt backbone and a pronounced hop character. A fine aroma, from an array of hops, completes this quaffable beer.

Pours gold into a shaker. Off-white head slowly recedes leaving spot lacing to skim surface. Malt and mild citrus aromas. Crisp with pine and resin and a lasting citrus finish.

Bottled. A slightly hazy dark golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet mlaty with quite strong notes of hops swell as notes of grass and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty and very hoppy combined with notes of caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Lemon cream and grain aroma with babyfood banana undertones. Shimmering amber color, no head. Almost equally tangy and bitter. It tastes of grains with mild cherry and lemon notes. Lemon peel finish. Alcohol is not noticeable. It’s a great concept sure to appeal to anyone. I didn’t really sense as much complexity as other raters though.

Deep blond color. Very nice hoppy aroma, having both the crispy malt, perfumy hops and fruitness. Good mouthfeel, some sweetness, cood malt and caramel flavor, with a touch of fudge; good hopping, a bit fruity too. I would compare it to Jämtlands Hell: sweeter, fruiter and less bitter. Very good.

Heavy with malts as it should be, this sweet pilsner is very enjoyable. Golden body with a small, white foamy head that quickly disappears. The aroma is grassy with hints of lemon and melon. Not a lot of hops presence. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, rich mouthfeel. Lively carbonation. Finish is sweet but refreshing. Nicely done.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of markgugs. Pours a slightly hazy, deep golden with a small, rough, off-white head. Very flowery and aromatic - almost perfumy - nose. Medium body, rather soft mouthfeel, lightly fruity, some peach notes and a citrusy edge. The finish is fairly bitter. Quite interesting and well composed. 180907

Pours crystal clear gold with half inch bright white head. The aroma comes off as both floral and citrus hops, some hints of malts sweetness and slight grainy malts. This beer has a crisp floral hop taste that grows into soft and semi sweet grapefruit hops. The hops are the main player in the flavor and aroma but they are not over the top like in a typical hoppy IPA. The flavor then blends into a malt sweetness creating a sort of sweet citrus and floral hop taste. It could use a bit more malt depth. But it is a good brew though.

Bottle from Ross; Purchase before May 07Nose of vanilla, caramel, and cloves, mixed with a bit of floral hops; yellow-amber with a small off white head; flavor has caramel, vanilla, spiciness; body is medium with a very light bitter hop finish. Very Good ESL!

Bottle. Amber, low head. Light malty and citric aroma. Lightbodied, thin malt, light citric hops redeem it slightly, perfumed aftertaste. But not terribly exiting.
