Bottle. Hazy brown color, foamy head. Strange sour aroma. Taste is quite malty, with a subtle sourness, the balsamico comes in the finish with some soy sweetness, quite mild, not very outspoken. The barrel aging is there, but hard to defect, gives a soft tone of vanilla. Tastes like it has potential, but seems unfinished.

Borefts VI. Day 2. Keg. Lightly hazy deep amber beer, short lived pale tan head. Palate is light, dry and crispy. Sourish red fruits. Very light vinegar, not at all sharp. Mild dry sweetness from the malts. Light dry finish. All right.

Keg at BBF 6, 27/09/14. Rich amber with reddish hues and moderate beige spotting/edgework. Nose is tarte red berries, leather, cherry skins, fruit balsams. Taste comprises tangy red berry licks, sour fruit mash, woody must, fruit balsam trace. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light acidic vibes. Ok stuff if a little muted when compared to the previous years version which I preferred more.
