Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a hazy deep reddish amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, sour red berry fruit. The flavour is light acid sour with a smooth acidic, light vinegar, malt fruit palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. I didn’t like the #1, but this was smoother and far better balanced.

[9/27/14] Bottle sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2014 in Bodegraven. Deep reddish amber. Big balsamic vinegar aroma with some malt and fruitiness. Sourish and slightly sweetish flavor with malt, balsamic vinegar, fruits and oak. Medium-bodied. Decent.

Bottle shared thanks to Deanso. Pours dark brown with a thin beige head. Aroma of vinegar, red wine, tart red fruits, toffee. Flavour is over moderate sweet and light sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Better than the first version.

Sampled @ Borefts 2014. Clear amber color, medium sized dense beige head. Don’t get a lot of aroma. Taste is sourish, not that acidic, at least not as acidic as I had expected, not at all. A lot better than last year, this time it is actually drinkable.

@ Borefts 2014. Dark red brown colour, some light brown foam. Aroma of roasted malts and dark fruit with notes of vinegar. Well balanced, not too sour. Good beer.

Sampled draft @ Borefts 2014. Thank you! Reddish dark brown, super- creamy tanned head. Lots of thick red sruits in the nose, candy, sweet/unami/varnish rich balsamic vinegar. Taste is same thick creamy red forest fruits, rich malts, spices, thick balsamic vinegar/umami. Very thick malty, light varnish. Very fun, unique. More balanced than #1 but I prefer less balance here :)
