Tap at Borefts ’13, 27/09/13. Hazed golden with a thin off white covering. Nose is hoppy, citrus, subtle ginger snap biscuit, grassy, bitter orange. Taste comprises ginger, hoppy tones, light mango, grass, citric tang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp clean finish laced with ginger but not OTT for this firey root! Nice drop, possibly the best beer I’ve tasted that featured the word ’ginger’ in it’s title!

Borefts Beer Festival 5. Day 1. Hazy amber beer with a small white head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Light fresh ginger, never too hot. Little marmalade hop provides contrast. Finishes crispy dry with pine and floral flavours. Tasty!

Slightly hazy amber colour, white head. Aroma of ginger, mostly ginger. Hints of malts and gooseberries. Light bitter flavour, ginger root. Bit thin. Finish mlats, caramel and ginger. Quite nice experiment, even though there is hardly any balance to be detected in this beer.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is mild citrusy to floral. Bitter, citrusy and crisp. Smooth fruity. Mild citric finish. Light spiced.

Sampled @ Borefts 2013. Hazy orange color, small white to off-white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, lots of ginger, sweetness and maybe some other herbs or spices. Average body and carbonation. Don’t like it.

Das Ingweraroma kommt bei diesem Bier absolut zur Geltung, andere Aromen s sind rar. Gewürzig, trocken bitter, gut trinkbar. 9/7/8/7//9

Sampled draft @ Borefts 2013. Hazy orange with a white head. Nose reminds me of the now sadly gone, Fanta Pomelo (green one), citrus, hay, ginger but as in additive not like fresh, touch hay. Taste is not like raw ginger, like in ginger products, biter herbs, spices, more green citrus fruits than ginger, heavy green citrus fruits, green Fanta Pomelo, bit lemon soday. Overall a bit soda-like for me. Light, easy to drink. This wasn’t for everyone but I liked it quite a bit.

On tap at BBF ’13. Slightly hazy orange colour, white head. Aroma of loads of ginger, both fresh and old/powder, bordering on soapy, lemon-like. Flavour of spicy but not peppery ginger, lemon, almost soapy again, light minty, decent bitter finish. Light-bodied. I like it.

Tap at Borefts 2013. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is unsurprisingly big ginger. The flavour is weak bitter with a moderate watery ginger palate. Where is the ginger? I wanted more!
