Draught @ Brussels Beer Project , Pigalle, Paris. Pours very dark brown with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, little coffee, chocolate, cocoa, fruit, little cherries. Flavor is light sweet, malt, light coffee, chocolate, sweet and light tart cherries. Medium body, lively carbonation, light sweet finish. Strangely high carbonation for the ABV wich makes it a little fizzy. 161018

Bottle with expiry 11-08-22. Black colour, small head disappears very quickly. Sparkling carbonation makes it hard to feel the taste. Feels watery. Aroma is dark chocolate, cherry, some alcohol. Light bitterness. Average.

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phloen Chit, Bangkok. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light coffee, chocolate, cherry. The flavour is moderate to light sweet with a smooth, rich, slightly oily, roasty, tart cherry, hop bitter palate with a light frothy mouthfeel. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle, 330 ml, from Hoppiness. Shared with JFK10000 and Max. Dark brown, beige head. Caramel, roasted malts, malty, light chocolate, soft carbonation. Sweetish with some bitterness in finish. Medium bodied. Seems somewhat thin for style and abv.

Bottle, 10%. Almost black with medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and cocoa. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, cocoa, sweet, liquorice, cherries, sweet and medium bitter.

Bottle from 100 piv. Surprisingly not so sweet and full, only moderately so. Slightly vegetably, but otherwise rather malty, easy drinking. Balanced, with the lightly roasty chocolatey malt evened out by light warmth (without feeling boozy). Medium-low carbonation too. Only a hint of cherry. Could use a bit more complkexity and depth IMO, but is now at least easy to down.

Bottle @ tasting with Joen and Niilstrong. Opaque dark brown to black color, small light brown colored head that diminishes quickly. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, cocoa, malt bitter. Decent.

Bottle. Black with a loosish inch of light tan head. Aroma of Cherry Ripe, earthy mocha. Barely medium bodied, fizzy. Not all that sweet, with cherry chocolate cake and tidy - if weedy - bitterness. Really lacks presence.
