33cl bottle from Hop Duvel, Ghent. A pale amber pour with a billowing cream head; citrus aroma with a touch of yeast; soft grainy body to start with some traditional farmhouse notes, then a big wave of sour grapefruit bitterness that overwhelms the palette, and leaves a tart grapefruit finish. You know you’ve been IPAed when you drink this!

Fairly bitter, resiny hoppy. Nothing more.. Can't discover what's so farmhouse about it, except the location. Not Kees or good enough!

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Beermoth. Pours clear gold with a dense, creamy white head. The nose gives off pale grains, light melon, tangerine rind, light Belgian yeast. Light sweet flavour with sturdy grassy and rindy bitterness, touches of alcohol, dry wheat bread. Medium bodied with average carboantion and velvety texture. Lightly warming on the finish, with husky grains, more bitter citrus rind, dry pale bread, hay. OK stuff overall.
