0,3 l bottle. A dark red brown in the glass, big light tanned head. Sweet malt on the nose. Starts malty with a cherry-sweetness. Low bitterness, little bit grain and alcoholic. Growing sweetness in a malt bedding to the end. Not undrinkable but not that what I expect under the label of a Bock.

300ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear dark brown, big, bubbly off-white head. Aromas are metallic, stone fruit. Taste is toffee sweet, but with a clean enough finish to avoid being sticky. Not bad.

Autumn version in Grolsch’ four seasons series and a typical Dutch bock, but bottom-fermented. Moussy, off-white, quite stable head, colour a bright, deep bronze. Malty aroma, bit simple, some aromatic hops, orange, chocolate, cherries, caramel. Malt sweet taste, very caramelly, a tad chocolatey in the middle, lightly roasted bitter sweet, subtle flowery hops in the finish. Relatively dry main taste for this style.

Pours ruby brown, with an average head. Malty aromas:caramel, bread crust, no hop aromas. Sweet and full, but surprisingly drinkable.

Dark hazelnut brown colour with a thick off white head. Caramel malty, fruity and nutty aroma. Medium + body. Well balanced sweet flavour with notes of caramel, nuts and a bit fruity. A lovely dutch bock in my bock.

Mooi donker herfstbok. Smaakt zoet met caramel achtige invloed, weinig bitter. Zal niet iedereen bekoren vanwege de zoete smaak.

50 cl bottle, 6.6%, contains sugar and colouring agent (gah!). Red color, clear, big stable beige head. Nothing in particular on the nose. Aroma is malty with sugar, caramel and wet carboard. Taste is heavily sweet with some bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied, carbonated, fizzy. "meh".

500 mml can tasted on 25/01/2014. The colour is clear brown and the taste is oxidated (maybe for the can). I don´t like it. Next one please.

Nasty sweet beer, with an artificial taste. Like drinking malty, sugary licorice water. Blech.
