Taste comprises tarte apple skin, light vanilla, straw, light smoke, hay. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent cider, nice and dry and never too sweet.

Keg at Draft House, Tower Bridge - London. Pour totally clear with almost no colour, just a faint yellowy tint. Sugary apples in the nose, with hints of musty cellar. Light-medium sweet flavour with pleasant musty dankness, light lemony acidity, dry apples, wood. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Drying on the finish, with some bitter apple skin, more basement, faint acidity, light ripe apple sugars. Has a nice complexity about it. Solid overall.

500ml bottle, takeout from Tilt, Birmingham. Pours clear pale gold, fast-diminishing head. Aroma is lightly sweet, taste settles into a comfortable Medium with sticky sweet apple juice and soothing tannins. Pleasant and not too dissimilar to Sheppy’s Oakwood.
