Medium, rather dense, just yellowish stable head over hazy orangey golden beer. Dry nose, yeast, yeastesters, other grains, dry malts. Less dry in the taste, maltsugars still abounding. Metallic bitterness in the background, bitter almonds. Sharpish feel, spritzy carbonation, slick. I really wonder about its attenuation - the yeast so prominent in the nose, maltsugars in the flavour, not much alcoholfeel... not fermented out is the guesstimate. Yet another beer that wants to be Champagne. About as successfull as Putins' new definition of Champagne. Thanks to Stef!

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Clear dark golden with a thin white head. Sweet hoppy aroma with some strawberries. Sweet taste with an atypical non-dry finish. Too sweet for my taste.

Bottle at home. Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, marzipan, quite sugary with soft spices, a touch of alcohol and indeed a light sparkling white wine character. Quite sweet, light bitter. Solid bodied with sparkly carbonation and a light dry finish. Quite sweet, but at least it's not boozy. Decent beer overall.

Clear blond beer, big solid creamy white head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of banana, smells like a hefeweizen, bubble gum, bit malty, oxidized, almonds, more banana, malty, some grains, cow fodder. MF: fine carbonation, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, cloves, bitter banana peel, some citrus, herbal, very yeasty, all bubble gum, pretty soapy. Aftertaste: bitter, astringent, rather unpleasant, banana peel, bit fruity, cloves, more a hefeweizen than anything else.

Fles gekregen van Maaike, geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het heeft een helder gouden kleur, enorme schuimige witte kop. De geur en smaak zijn moutig, grassig en gistachtig.
