Our Fog Breaker IPA - first brewed in 2018 - is bursting with fresh pine and juicy tropical hops, this beer is a crisp, refreshing and (mostly) haze-free take on a San Francisco IPA. Fog Breaker IPA, with its distinctly fruity aroma and assertively bitter taste, is a hoppy, yet crisp and refreshing addition to Anchor’s portfolio. Its intense aromas of ripe pineapple, melons and resinous pine are derived from essential oils in Citra Cryo hops as well as whole-cone Denali and Cascade hops.

Bottiglia.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is citrussy hops with orange, zesty citrus peel, grass, pineapple, some tropical notes and soft pine. Flavour is mildly sweetish with a solid bitterness. Body is medium. Nicely citrussy and bitter, solid IPA.

Foamy off white head left a creamy cover on a hazy amber body. Stone fruit, confectionery & hoppy aroma. Medium bodied, sharp with a softer clean back. Malt, pine, stone fruit & mango tastes with a long bitter hopped up finish. Decent.

12 oz. bottle. Drank straight from the bottle. Another typical hoppy, bitter IPA just like all the others. Tick. Nothing to see here - move along.

Bottle. Fairly hazy golden amber with a white head. Aroma of bitter oranges, some medicinal notes, bread. And so it tastes. Bittersweet with an almost menthol-like finish. Sharpish citrus leans towards yuzu. A little reminiscent of De Ranke XX Bitter. Well-integrated flavours. Interesting.
