0.33 l bottle from 'Mitra' (Roermond), bottled in February 2018, cellared for about a year. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, stable, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty and a little spicy aroma of dark chocolate, licorice, coffee, some nuts and hints of pepper. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, some nuts and a touch of dark fruits, followed by a long, rather roasty-bitter, earthy and slightly peppery finish. Medium to full body, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice RIS although I don't really like peppers in my beer.

Very alcoholic. Otherwise a good RIS, with lots of coffee. Bitter, roasty and pitch black. Bit thin, but on the other hand: Putin wearing a party hat.

Bottle from Mister Hop. Color: Black, beige head. Taste: Medium sweet roasted malt, coffee, brown sugar. Notes of chocolate. Subtle peppery hints. Moderate bitterness. Above medium body, under average carbonation. Ok Imperial Stout, but lacking complexity.
