Brewed with 2-row pale, red wheat and acidulated malt, San Franpsycho IPA pours a hazy golden straw color with a white fluffy head. The mouthfeel is creamy and smooth yet mildly effervescent with a hint of back-end tartness. This IPA is fermented with a mixed culture of yeast to create a unique and fruity estery nose, unlike any other IPA from Anchor. The brewers adds peach and apricot fruit puree during the secondary fermentation

Közepes, tartós hab, homályos, félbarnába hajló narancssárga szín. Citrusos, barackos, illat, enyhe fűszeres beütéssel. Barackos, citrusos, fűszeres ízek. Egy leheletnyit savanykás. Könnyű, fanyar, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Kellemes gyümölcsös IPA.

12oz bottle. Better than most fruited IPAs, displays a nice malt balance. Depth. The fruit is there, but not aggressively artificial or forced. Like most fruited IPA, seems a cop-out...why not just use hops to get that tone? Not a beer I would revisit.

0.355 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', best before April 2020. A little hazy, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, fruity-floral aroma of peach, grapefruit and orange. Quite sweet, moderately bitter, intensely fruity-floral taste of peach, grapefruit and orange, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly grassy, grapefruity finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very well-crafted IPA, very refreshing despite my aversion to fruit IPA's.
