Brewed with 2-row pale, red wheat and acidulated malt, San Franpsycho IPA pours a hazy golden straw color with a white fluffy head. The mouthfeel is creamy and smooth yet mildly effervescent with a hint of back-end tartness. This IPA is fermented with a mixed culture of yeast to create a unique and fruity estery nose, unlike any other IPA from Anchor. The brewers adds peach and apricot fruit puree during the secondary fermentation

Keg at the Sloany Pony. It pours clEar golden with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, tinned peach, tangy, tinned mango, sugary, five alive fruit juice and white bread. The taste is fruity, tangy, white bread, peachy, tinned fruits, mango, bit tart, fruit skin, pithy, tannin, some bitterness and candy with a fruity finale. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Tangy and fruity, but perhaps a touch artificial. Not bad.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a hazy dark golden color with a large creamy off white head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was sweet with sugar, citrus and tropical fruit. The flavor was tart and bitter with tropical fruit, sugar and grapefruit. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours somewhat translucent gold with a pretty, foamy white head. Aroma of pale stone fruits - apricot? Med body or so. Flavor is slightly tart - like apricot skin. It seems hoppy, fairly dry, and definitely bitter. Not sure how to parse this in reality, but it has nice aspects, and it's pretty tasty. Like it.
