Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of brettanomcyes, roasted malt, and hay. The flavor is sweet with notes of brettanomyces, roasted malt, hay, and alcohol, leading to a bitter finish.

Draft @ CBC 2015. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty caramel chocolate aroma with weak hints of cherry. Has a roasted malty caramel flavor with weak hints of cherry. Has a roasted malty chocolate, caramel finish with hints of cherry.

Draught@CBC2015. Black colour with a beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, liquorice, chocolate, coffee and some nmild ripe fruitiness and cherries as well. Flavour is very similar, but also has mild cocoa and some vanillaish notes. Somewhat ashy and chocolaty finish and aftertaste.

Keg at the 4th Copenhagen Beer Celebration, Session 3, 02/05/2015. Pitch black with a decent tan covering. Nose is cherry skins, chocolate, light roast, toffee, red berry jam. Taste comprises Black Forest Gateaux, red berry jam, light charr, bitter roast, cocoa powder. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok impy, fairly light and airy, pulls off the Black Forest Gateaux well.

Keg at the hanging bat. Pours black, nose is blackcurrant, toffee, chocolate, funky, taste is tart berry,dry roasted, rich.

Keg at Fuggles Beer Cafe. Appearance is black, a foamy beige head which quickly disappears. Aroma- loads of blackcurrant, dark fruit, burnt malts, coffee hints. Taste- bitter coffee, very vinous, dry roasty malts, blackberries, blackcurrants. Very good.

Tap@CBC 2015, Red Session - pours black with beige/tan head. Medium roasted malty aroma and taste, with chocolate, some coffee, caramel, vanilla, and some cherry fruity notes, chocolate finish. Nice.

Tap at CBC 2015. Poured a dark mahogany with a frothy tan head. The aroma is light roasted malt. The flavour is light bitter sweet with a touch of cherry sourness. The palate is smooth chewy yeast, light chocolate, crisp citrus with a bubbly mouthfeel. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
