0.33 l bottle from the taproom. Pours copper with thin, immediately vanishing head. Nose is dry (is that even possible?) malty, and I sense some rye in there too. Taste follows the aroma with a very slight, barely noticable hoppy touch. Short, bitterish finish, light body, average carbonation. No big deal, but one without major flaws.

Bottle. Dark amber color with small white head. Aroma of caramel, hops. Taste, caramel malt, too sweet for me. Medium bodied. No hops. Still OK beer.

Bottle at a tasting in Damian. Mostly malty, caramelly, red sugary character. Med-full body, moderate carbonation. Slow-drinking, but good, but not great. Hops in the background, if any.

0.33 l bottle from 'Gogol Csapház', best before October 2018. Clear, very dark reddish amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, light beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity and a little floral-herbal aroma of red fruits, tea leaves, some blackberry jam and a touch of caramel. Moderately sweet, malty, slightly bitter, gently herbal-grassy, a bit floral and a little fruity taste of tea leaves, blackberry jam, some red fruits and notes of caramel, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly herbal-grassy, moderately dry finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Good traditional Irish Red!
