30cl Bottle from NHBF’16. Brown colour, beige head. Aroma of brown sugar, lactose, ontbijtkoek. Flavour is sweet, lactose, brown sugar, watery, hint of smoke or leather, faint bitter and sweet finish. Light bodied, watery. Really not the sum of its brewers’ parts. Too bad.

Sampled from tap at NHB 2016. Hazy, dark brown with a beige head. Sweetish, herbal-spicy aroma of caramel, some chocolate, yeast and a lot of spices. Sweetish-malty, spicy taste of caramel, some chocolate, yeast and lots of spices, followed by a short, slightly bitter, yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Too spicy for me.
