Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom’s place. Thanks Vova. Hazy golden. Aroma of vanilla, caramel, malt, a bit of bourbon. Very sweet flavor, sickly sweet, with vanilla, caramel, a bit of of vermouth, a spicy note, and a bit of alcohol. Way too sweet and kinda hard to drink.

Relativ süßer Antrunk mit starken, fast künstlich wirkenden Vanillenoten. Weich, die Süße nimmt ab, das starke Vanillearoma bleibt. Nicht mein Fall. 8/7/6/8/9/7

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity and vanilla. Sweet, vanilla and slight citric. Sweet malty and dense canilla into the finish. Unusual, but nice.

0.33 l bottle from Bierpost, bottle No. 74, best before 15/2/2016. Slightly hazy, orangeish amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, malty aroma of candy sugar, orange blossom, honey, vanilla and bourbon. Sweetish, malty taste of vanilla, honey, orange blossom, cinnamon and candy sugar, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, minimally alcoholic and warming finish with notes of bourbon. Medium body, slightly oily and creamy mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. The vanilla comes more to the fore in the taste and is pleasant, not penetrating. The 10% abv are almost not noticable, but it is more a sipper. Very good!

Tap at Craftbeerfestival Magdeburg. Deep golden in the glass, nice head. Extreme intense vanilla aroma. Starts very sweet, not alcoholic, extreme vanilla notes. Tastes not really like beer. Very light dry notes in the background. Very interesting beer, but hard to compare with others.

Draft sample @ Berlin Braufest 2015.
