Bottle split at Mikkeller Viktoriagade, 30/04/15. Very lightly hazed cherry red with a moderate crimson covering. Nose is tarte berry, light acidic whisper, straw, blueberry notes, damp hay. Taste comprises tangy berry, soured blueberries, funk, barnyard, wood must, light brett tinge. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok simple sour.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Nice pinkish orange-red color. Great aroma of blueberries, lacto, funk, light medicinal notes. Sour flavor with juicy blueberries, lacto, and citric touch. Medium-bodied. Great.

Bottle 375ml. [ As Crooked Stave Petite Sour (Blueberry) ].Unclear medium red orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate to heavy, bakung yeast, blue berries, tart, funky. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, baking yeast, blue berries, tart, funky. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 375ml bottle from The Source, split with my wife, pours a neon pink with some frothy white head. Nose is not too inviting, some nail polish, some stale malt, some berry and acid, but not much. Flavor lacks the berry promised, a stale malt character, almost a buckwheat thing, some passion fruit, some acetic acid. Medium bodied. Another miss. Maybe the base is off.

Bottle @ Mikkeller Bar Victoriagade. Pours hazy vibrant bluish red with a rather small frothy pinkish white head that leaves some dense spotty trace on the glass while dissiapting. Smell is fruity and funky with crackers, lemon juice, lime juice, blueberries, bilberries, hay, dry soil, minerals, barnyard and lemon zest. Taste is sour and fruity. Mouthfeel is sparkling, dry, tart, tiny berry skin astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is sour with crackers, lemon juice, lime juice, blueberries, hay, dry soil, minerals, barnyard and lemon zest. Nice refreshing fruity sour as expected from this brewer. Yummy!
