0.33 l bottle from ’Speciaalbierpakket.nl’, best before October 2018. Slow gusher! Clear, dark brownish amber with a massive, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly yeasty-spicy and a bit roasty aroma of caramel, toasted nuts, clove, overripe banana and some chocolate. Quite sweet, sugary, malty, rather yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity taste of caramel, toasted nuts, raisins, overripe banana, some clove and hints of chocolate, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy, slightly roasty and a bit dry finish. Medium body, fairly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Too much carbonation, a touch too yeasty, other than that a solid brew.
