Bottle - Huge nose of sour cherry and some oaky notes. Cloudy orange copper with a decent white head. Tart notes, light acidity and a bitter cherry finish. Very nice.

Draught @ Mikropolis. Pours hazy burnt golden with a small creamy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Smell fruity and tiny funky with sourdough crackers, lemon juice, lime juice, white grapes and raisins, hay, dry soil, minerals, moist wood, lemon zest and hints of barnyard and caramel. Taste is sour, fruity and tiny funky. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, tart, mouthpuckering and light to medium bodied. Finish is sour with sourdough crackers, lemon juice, lime juice, peaches, white grapes, dry sherry, hay, minerals, lemon zest and hints of barnyard. Rather straight forward with a typical Crooked Stave citric acid dominance. Adds up to a great sour nonetheless but the Jester King version wins with its complexity and elegance.

Poured from a bottle shared by Travlr it is a cloudy amber color with a white head. The aroma is fermented apple and the taste is sour flavor that is hard to distinguish and I tried maybe apple cider vinegar and as reported I am not a sour beer fan.

From a bottle courtesy Travlr. Thanks! Pours a hazy copper with an off white head. Funky bandaid nose. Starts out sour red fruits and ends with a touch of butterscotch.

Bottle. Hazy variegated golden amber color, big fluffy white head. Aroma of sour apricot and peach. Taste is softly sour caramelized stone fruit, vanilla, subtle butterscotch. Very tasty. I like that it has a very drinkable abv.

Sampled at the Crooked Stave in The Source pours a clear orange with lots of white head. Nose has some agave, straw, white grapefruit, dried berries (strawberry), red grape. Flavor is interesting, Vitamin C and yogurt, some strawberry, passion fruit, white grape. There is an interesting sweet/white port thing happening at the end. Full, tart finish.

Tap at CS - light hazy light amber - interesting one, this - there is a sweetness and toastiness to the malt character that is interesting contrastedagainst the moderate tartness and moderate acetic acid of the brew - a bit of cherry - the toastiness of the malt eventually settles to a kind of husky character - finish has a bit too much acetic.acid - meh.
