Given the success of this new beer during this event, the brewery started to produce it for all its consumers. Amber-coloured organic beer, dry and bitter with a smoky (or more specifically peaty) note in taste and flavour. This phenolic characteristic is obtained by using a low percentage of malt specially dried with Scottish peat (whisky malt).

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. As Dupont Triomf. Aroma is smoked pale malt with yeasty and spicy notes, some farmhouse esters. Flavour is mild sweetish and light bitter with a medium body. Nice soft smoke, expected a bit more refinement from Dupont though.

On tap at the Brugge Beer Festival 2023, Brugge, Belgium. A hazy amber coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Smokey, malty, yeasty taste/aroma. Decent enough smoked offering.
Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Label ‘DuPont Biologique Triomf 6%’. Pours an amber/orange colour with a medium creamy off-white head. Aroma is fairly sweet with ripe fruit and candy (fruit salad sweets). Smokiness is detected on the first mouthful with more of the ripe fruit and candy notes detected in the aroma. A light earthy hop with the smokiness and sweetness combined creates a nice balance. Medium body with light carbonation. A unique tasting beer and a prettt good one.

On tap at Zythos. Pours a clear amber with light head. Aromas of Belgian yeast, stoned fruit and bready malts. Subtle flavouring of banana, cloves, smoke and toasted malts with a little noble hops. Smoke is subtle, not overbearing

Fles Dupont Triomf. Donkergeel bier met schuim. Smaak is licht gerookt en bitterzoet met de rooksmaak duidelijk aanwezig, wat zoet fruit en ietwat karamel. OK.

Bottle, 6% as Dupont Triomf. Weak smokey aroma. Hazy amber colour. Good stable whitish head. The flavour starts off with a mild sweetness. Turning slightly roasted and smokey. Good malt base. Also good mouthfeel. Tastes good, like a real smoked, and not a whiskey smokey.
