On tap at Gist. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of nutty roast, peanut, roasted malts, burnt caramel. Flavour is roasty, light nutty, some coffee, dark chocolate, bitter finish, some caramel. Light to medium bodied. Good, tasty.

Keg at Cooks of Stirling. It pours jet black with a sturdy, long last light tan head. The aroma is earthy roast, ashy, coffee grounds, toasted nut and cacao nibs The taste is initially smooth, then dry, rich roasted malt, ashy, umami, salted liquorice, burnt coffee, inky and some peppery spice with a dinky dry finish. Medium body and moderate, tight foamy carbonation. Lacks a bit of depth perhaps, but works as nice alternative to Guinness.

Tried at the Harviestoun Tap Take O.ver at Eebria. Thick black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste roasted malty, light spice. It certainly is very smooth full bodied and drinkable.
