(Draught at Hopfenreich, Berlin, 26 Aug 2016) Amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of treacle-toffee, citrus, orange peel, grapefruit and apricots. Malty, hoppy taste with treacle-toffee, caramel, citrus, orange peel, a touch of resin and a generous citric, resiny bitterness. Medium body, with a certain caramel sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Bottle at Craft Islington, thanks to Riley. It pours deep golden - amber with a thick white head. The aroma is fresh, bready, earthy, slightly grainy, stone fruits, apricot, peach and sherbet. The taste is crisp, bitter, grassy, straw, floral, bready malt and lemon rind with some peppery spice in the finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not bad.
