Bottle. Dark color, medium frothy head. Aroma of roasted malts, some fruity blackcurrant and a hint of smoke and tar. Quite dry and roasted in flavor. Bit thin and less creamy than say a Guinness, but more flavor. Decent.

Draft. A black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and a bit of spice. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, caramel, and bread, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle. Color: Very dark ruby to almost black. Thin dark beige head. Taste: Dark roasted malt, chocolate, hints of coffee, lactose. Under medium body, bit watery. Short finish. Bit dry mouthfeel. Nice low alcohol stout, but lacking taste and complexity compared to most higher alcohol stouts.
