(6/29/08) Bottle sample at RBESG08 grand tasting in Plzen. Muddy dark red. Aroma of berry-flavored candies and some gummy bears notes. Sweet flavor, slightly artificial, of berry candies. Light-bodied.

RBESG08 grand tasting Muddy dark red body. Perfumey fruity nose, "red fruit" (so, raspberries I guess), a touch of hop. Sweet candyish and yet a bit sour taste, raspberries... bit like gummi bears. Ok enough.

Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is raspberries, some blood orange as well as a bunch of wheat. Flavour is quite the same in a papery dryness. Kind of lager meets raspberries in a very dry way.

Bøgelverschlussflasche: Slightly hazy, reddish-amber coloured, quite stable bigger fluffy pinkish head; distinctive orangey-fruity (hindbæren) nose with lots of hops in the background; complex dryish bitter-sweet flavour with a sourish touch, light bodied; slightly lingering sourish-hoppy finish. Literally refreshing fruit-beer...........

Bottled. A quite hazy deep red beer with a huge pink bubbly head. The aroam is sweet and quite powerful with notes of raspberries, nuts, and some citursy hops. The flavor is a mixture of sweet and tartness, with strong notes of raspberries, nuts, straw, and citrus, leading to a very dry end. Nice as an aperitif.
