Bottle, 4.6%. Good roasted aroma. Very dark brown colour. Small stable tan head. The flavour starts off quite roasted, then turns slightly sour. The flavour goes on being roasted, quite nice actually.

On the bus between Klatovy and Dobrany, I think Fil got these for us (thanks!) Poured a darker brown red colour with an off white fluffy head that went away at a medium pace. A malty caramelly nose with some maltiness. A nice light caramelly maltiness dominates the taste, with some low chewy hoppy bitterness showing up closer to the end. A decent dunkel, probably the best of the Platan beers I’ve had.

looks perfect, dark colour with huge head. Flavours of malt, roasted malt and caramel, combined with a hoppy bitterness in the background. Lovely Dunkel!
