330ml can, as Kaapse Bertus, 10 % abv, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pours a dark ruby-brown body, low fawn-coloured head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Inviting roasted brown malts on the nose, scent of earth and biscuit. Well blended taste of toffee, dried fruits, bread, and a light vibe of smoked malts. Roasted brown malty finish, lingering. Fine bodied. Very suitable sipper on a Friday afternoon. (Tromsø 27.08.2021).

Thank you for sharing Israeli Crew! Sampled draft @ BAF 2016. Near clear red amber, off-white. Nose is weird herbal insecticide, spoiled strawberry, weirdly herbal. Taste is weird herbal, syrupy, overly herbal, grains, spoiled fruit. Taste is overly herbal, molasses, syrup, weird. Not into it, actually like it less than the initial version.
